Local Pickup FAQ
1. How does in-store pickup work? Can I pick up my order today?
Shopping online but prefer to pick up your items in person? No problem! Simply select the in-store pickup option at checkout. Once your order is ready, you can swing by our Toronto store and grab it hassle-free!
We do not offer same day pickup for online orders. If you place an order through our website, please do not expect to pick it up until you receive a pick-up notification email. This may take up to 3 days.
Online inventory is stored at our warehouse and needs to be delivered to our stores for pickup. Whether or not we have a particular title in stock at one of our stores will not affect the turn-around time for online orders.
If you would like to pick something up the same day, please call the appropriate location and we can expedite the process!
2. How will I know when my order is ready?
This typically takes less than 3 business days. We’ll send you a confirmation email as soon as your order is prepped and good to go. Keep an eye on your inbox – this email will let you know it’s time to come pick it up! If more than 3 days have passed and you have not received a notification after checking your junk/spam folders, please contact us and we will investigate for you!
3. What do I need to bring with me to pick up my order?
Just bring the following when you come to the store:
- A copy of your order confirmation email (digital or printed).
- A valid photo ID (just to make sure we’re giving the order to the right trainer!).
If someone else is picking up the order for you, they’ll need to bring your confirmation email and their own photo ID.
4. How long will you hold my order?
We’ll keep your order safe and sound for 7 days. If you need more time to pick it up, just reach out to us! Otherwise, unclaimed orders will be canceled, and any payments will be refunded.
5. Can I pay for my order in-store?
Unfortunately, all orders for in-store pickup must be paid online in advance. No payments can be processed at the store for pickup orders.
6. What if I need to make changes to my order?
Need to adjust something? No worries! Just email us at mail@ydz.ca, and we’ll do our best to help. If the order is already processed, changes might not be possible, but we’ll work with you to find a solution.
7. Can I shop in-store while picking up my order?
Of course! While you’re here, feel free to browse our collection of Pokémon products, apparel, and more. Who knows? You might find a few extra things to add to your journey!
Important Note Regarding High Value Orders
If the value of your order is around $500 or more, you may need to present the credit card used for the purchase in addition to your ID in order to pick up. The name and address on your credit card must match the information on your ID, and both must match the information provided on the order. If this is your first purchase with us and your order exceeds $500 we may refund the purchase at the time of pickup and ask for you to pay in person as an additional security measure.
